e-Devlet Anahtar application enhances the security of access to the e-Government Gateway by providing an additional layer of one-time password security after logging in with the T.C. Identification Number and password. You can activate your key from the e-Government Key menu on <a href="https://www.google.com/url?q=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.turkiye.gov.tr&amp;sa=D&amp;sntz=1&amp;usg=AOvVaw00JykDekqErQNOdhHkIQEw">www.turkiye.gov.tr</a> and then generate one-time passwords using this application.

The password generated by the e-Government Key application is not sufficient alone for accessing the e-Government Gateway. To log in, it is mandatory to enter the T.C. Identification Number and password. The e-Government Key serves as an additional security method. Furthermore, after activating the e-Government Key feature, to log in using e-Government mobile applications, the latest version of the mobile application must be installed on your device.

The e-Government Key application features smartwatch compatibility. You can generate one-time passwords through your smartwatch connected to your device with the e-Government Key installed.
